Truth and FAQs about the in tears~ and under the rain trilogies

TRIVIA HOW THE in tears~ AND under the rain TRILOGIES STARTED

When did the idea came in?
The idea of this collaboration started when I told Ms. Patricia Gabriel that I'm writing a story and I bumped in with a folder in the documents entitled 'in tears~'. I told her that I know I really have a plan of trilogy with this title but I forgot the names of the characters, the summary and how it will be alive. Then, we came to an idea to make the trilogy to a collaboration. Later that night, I found some clues that lead to the titles of those two trilogies and nothing more were found.
I recovered some times that it was Friday, 22nd of March when this collaboration have life again/

What's the very first idea?
The very first idea with the in tears~ and under the rain trilogies is to start writing the in tears~ trilogy first under the narration of a female heroine. And then later on as we are on the progress of writing it, we'll start with the under the rain. As I clearly remember, the next day, I think of a very good plot and names for the characters of 'Lena Larmes' and 'Lien Craintes'. Then when I hand the summary I plan that has to do with a magic with the tears and the characters, Ms. Gabriel suggested the idea of a guy named 'Germain' (she likes it for unknown reason). And I just can't give up 'Lien's name so I told her that we'll have two female heroines and two male heroes.
The first plot of the trilogies were very different from what it is now. The first plot has to do with something magical about the tears. Yet, we came up with the idea on how it is running now.

How did the titles came up?
Like I said in the first question, the titles for the books of the trilogies were only the few remnants of what I got from the folder of 'in tears~' in the documents, and we decided to stick with it.

Why is it a trilogy?
Because the idea of having it to a series would make it too long and also with the titles that becomes the main stick out idea.

How's the narration pattern?
We decided to have the female heroines' narrations with in tears~ and the male heroes' narrations with under the rain.

How did the characters given life?
I and Ms. Gabriel has our own female heroines and male heroes so we created them in different type and forms, based on different ideas and imagination.
For me, the creation of Lena Larmes was one of the easiest. I wrote her narrations like I'm really her. I created her composed like I am with the feelings and is respectful to follow the rules. And with Lien Craintes, I based him from Marie Lu's male hero Daniel Altan Wing or simply Day, as the young teenage criminal most sought by the police but I made him happy and carefree by nature, dead serious when it has to do with personal things and indeed chivalrous to women (a smooth talker).

Someone also asked me this next three questions:
Who is Patricia Gabriel?
For anyone out there that doesn't know her, she's the Salutatorian of her batch last school year. That means, she is a year older than me. She is the bearer of the Scroll of Knowledge which was passed to me and we grow close when we were fangirling together during the La Salle Cavite Search Competition. We call each other, 'pre', as a sign of friendship. But I call her with more respect in here. We treat each other like siblings, the same way like Lena Larmes and Elise Gray (our characters). And I'm telling you, she is one great writer as well and she is a great collab pal when it comes to mystery and action. Like me, she likes to torture our characters the same way as I.

What's with 'in tears'?
in tears~ trilogy was set on year 2025 in the reformed Tasavalta, previously known as the Philippines, twenty-seven years ago, everything changes. Lena Larmes and Elise Gray were the best of friends and treats each other like siblings and they were on their Senior year when their worlds collide in with their school's principal's son, Germain Detro and the most wanted criminal of the Republic, Lien Craintes. They were the first generations of the procedure conducted to the children ordered by the government itself. They need to find what's behind with that thing, what's with the war on the South and where a budding-romance seems to hinder the three rules every children with the procedure was given.

Were 'in tears~' and 'under the rain' different to each other?
The answer is 'no'. The only difference with these two trilogies is that, in tears~ was written under the narrations of the female heroines: Lena Larmes and Elise Gray, while under the rain was written under the perspectives of the male heroes: Lien Craintes and Germain Detro.

CHECKLIST!! @_@ (for in tears and under the rain trilogies)

There are a lot of things that needs to be done for the in tears~ and under the rain trilogies. There are a lot of things I and Ms. Gabriel needs to alter, like maps, rules, and other things...

Map of Tasavalta
At least the problem regarding this one is finished because I created one, or let's say I renew an old one. Since, Tasavalta in the story is a futuristic Philippines, I and Ms. Gabriel decided to stick with the territory of the Philippines, we just edit the names of the cities or provinces and the division as well.

Lien's Criminal Record
Among all, I enjoyed creating this one from the rest. I love Lien as a character. After all, I love all of my characters especially when they are the main guys that captures the hearts of the main protagonists of the story and tends to win my heart as well and other fans out there.

Flag of Tasavalta
I'm not assigned for this one and haven't heard that Ms. Gabriel is working for this but she has a lot of ideas for this one. We also planned that it will not be too far from the original Philippine flag, since it was said that Lena had mistaken Lien's tattoos from the flag now but indeed it was the former flag.

Coat of Arms of Tasavalta
Another thing not assigned to me. If it has to do with drawing, don't trust me with those things especially if it has to do with symbolism. So Ms. Gabriel will be working on this one.

Pledge of Loyalty
The pledge was then based on the Philippines' Pledge of Patrionism as well and a hint of Marie Lu's Legend trilogy. And I love the thought that they need to recite it for three times a day, more than the number of times an ordinary religious person prays on a day.

Oath of Allegiance
I've done one for Lien's accordance that he is turning over his allegiance to the government and promises to be inclined with the constitution of the Republic and avoid or refrain himself from doing crimes.

Constitution of the Republic
This is the hardest one among all. I need to have a basis on this and as usual, the Philippines Constitution of 1987 was used as a protocol for this one. And I just finished the preamble and the territory. So that's still a work to do. :D

Mixed Updates: journalism, in tears~ and eX Dream/2018

Since Wednesday, April 24, I joined in the so-called journalism group in my school to promote a school campus paper on the coming school year in June.
To make everyone be aware, the Philippine curriculum circulates from June until March for Elementary and High School students, and for the College students, it depends on the school already.
This coming school year, I'll be in 4th year already so I decided that I don't have any time to waste and be part of this group.
For three days now, I enjoyed it. I meet new people and learn new skills, and even know my very own style.

Okay, regarding that term for style, the teacher in charge for the journalism group commented on my writings. And this is what she said:

'You have great writings. They are perfect for novels and you're also good in news and feature writing. The style that you just practiced on is dark.'

Well, thank you for that comment from my teacher. I can only say her one thing:

'I write something dark just because it will be too easy to add light and hope later on for the characters and for the readers because the hardest part and challenge for every author is how they will have a dark style in a light one without shifting and twisting the plot.'

And a few says that I'm gifted for it. Because most authors have a hard time on it.

Another thing, the collaboration with Ms. Patricia Gabriel for the in tears~ trilogy has it's own counterpart of narrations featuring Lien Craintes and Germain Detro in under the rain, opposite to the narrations of Lena Larmes and Elise Gray from the in tears~ trilogy. Like the in tears~, under the rain will also be a trilogy.

Regarding the eX Dream/2018, the first series under The Guardians' Chronicles was coming near to its end. Estimated by the 8th of May 2013, Wednesday, the final book of the series will be done writing. For now, I'm working with Chapitre 19 and thirteen more days before the estimated deadline. But everyone don't need to worry about it. eX Dream/2018 isn't the only series in The Guardians' Chronicles. I'm telling it to you, there are six other trilogies to meet and see and read for The Guardians' Chronicles, not only the eX Dream/2018 series.

Part 10: NIGH

Okay, I'm finally on the process of writing the very last part of the eX Dream/2018 series. Few more chapters and finally, I would be able to start another series for the chronicle.
Right, eX Dream/2018 isn't a single series. It is part of a greater series that I love calling as The Guardians' Chronicles. The chronicles will have seven series and eX Dream/2018 is the longest of the seven with five books, while the rest, the remaining six series that is also part of the chronicle are trilogies. Making the series has an estimated twenty-three books and other books to call it out with thirty books.
I'll post few things regarding The Guardians' Chronicles will be on here a few weeks from now.
